Some people celebrate their birthday for a whole month – we’re celebrating St. Patrick’s Day until the very end of March. This year’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Potato Planting will be Friday March 31st, from 4-6 pm, in the Cultivating Roots Community Garden. Just like before, we’ll have fun, games, and a whole lot of potatoes! But unlike years past, it snowed this month. We’re hoping to avoid a late frost, soggy soil, and rotten potatoes by pushing our planting back a couple weeks.
So come join us on the 31st to have fun, get your hands dirty, and celebrate the beginning of another year in the garden. We hope to see you there!
