Happy Spring from the Cultivating Roots Garden!

Our volunteers and staff had a busy April, filled with planting, watering, and battling spring garden pests. All of that hard work is starting to pay off as we are seeing more and more seedlings sprouting each week!

Do you love to garden and want to share your knowledge and experience?

Are you new to gardening and want to learn while also giving back to your community?

Looking for a fun way to get community service hours outside in the beautiful spring weather?

Join us on Mondays from 3:00-5:00pm at the garden for volunteer work days! Throughout May we will be doing lots more planting, decorating, and building structures in the garden. If you are interested in volunteering, feel free to contact us for more information or just show up on Mondays at 3:00pm.

Today (May 4th) we will be planting carrots, beets, lettuce, and kohlrabi in addition to doing a few chores to get our garden beds ready for transplanting later in the month.

Hope to see you out there!
